Standing by the large round fenced opening in the ground – or spitting bowl as nicknamed by someone – at the Stockholm’s T-Centralen Railway station one can hear voices coming from left and right, from up above and below mixing into one massive stream of sound.
That was Day Ten.

Ah, I’m glad you found the spitting bowl. It’s probably one of T-centralens most frequented places, well known so often used as a place to meet. I always stop by there to enjoy the buzzing when going to Stockholm by train.
Yes Magnus, this one is such a good place to meet – it is almost impossible to get lost while being there. Also, I was surprised to hear Big Ben’s chimes as a signature tune before the announcement began. Ta-da/daa-da 🙂 I Do you know this spot as spitting bowl too?
Haha, yes the SJ-announcement signal. Actually I don’t know what to call it if not the Spitting bowl. I actually think think that pretty much everyone I ever arranged a meeting with at that place have known what I meant by calling it the Spitting bowl.
