This is the sound of the forthcoming Russian presidential elections but from a slightly different perspective. A few of weeks before the polling stations open their doors, dozens of sandwich boards hit the street encouraging people to make a vote \u2014 like elsewhere across the country, being a part of the national campaign. These banners are short-lived, when the elections are over they will make way for more traditional outdoor advertising.<\/p>\n

Now to the recording. Two men in workwear fixing the plastic banner up in the air while their safety ropes clamps make clanging sounds. Red Army avenue to the right.<\/p>\n
